The artist Natalia Plietsch studied design as well as the classical disciplines of painting, drawing and sculpture at the Stroganov Academy of Arts in Moscow. In addition to her studies, she also took private lessons in painting and drawing with renowned artists such as Persidsky and Borkovskij and attended the courses for batik and silk painting with Vladislav Sokolov at the Museum of Decorative Arts for two years. Natalia Plietsch has lived in Germany since 1994. There, the city of Bayreuth has become her second home. Here she began to paint large-format pictures, to develop her style and to organize exhibitions herself.
However, she cannot stay with one artistic direction, the fascination of the possibilities and the variety of materials inspire her to change the techniques from work to work. This is how drawings, pastels, watercolors, oil, tempera and acrylic paintings are created. The shimmering silk as a substrate remains the great love over the years, the medium for expressing the beauty of nature and for decorative applied arts. Self-made and hand-painted silk clothing provide her with good material for experiments.
Die Künstlerin Natalia Plietsch studierte Design sowie die klassischen Disziplinen Malerei, Zeichnen und Bildhauerei an der Stroganov-Kunstakademie in Moskau. Als Ergänzung zum Studium nahm sie auch privaten Unterricht in Malerei und Zeichnen bei renommierten Künstlern wie Persidskij und Borkovskij und besuchte zwei Jahre lang die Kurse für Batik und Seidenmalerei beim Vladislav Sokolov im Museum der Dekorativen Kunst. Seit dem Jahr 1994 lebt Natalia Plietsch in Deutschland. Dort ist die Stadt Bayreuth zu ihrer zweiten Heimat geworden. Hier hat sie angefangen, großformatige Bilder zu malen, ihren Stil weiterzuentwickeln und selbst Ausstellungen zu organisieren.
Bei einer künstlerischen Richtung kann sie jedoch nicht bleiben, die Faszination der Möglichkeiten und die Vielfalt der Materialien inspirieren dazu, die Techniken von Werk zu Werk zu wechseln. So entstehen Zeichnungen, Pastelle, Aquarelle, Öl-, Tempera,- und Acrylbilder. Die schimmernde Seide als Untergrund bleibt auch über die Jahre die große Liebe, das Medium für Ausdruck der Schönheit der Natur und für dekorative angewandte Kunst. Selbstgeschneiderte und handbemalte Seidenkleidung bieten ihr guten Stoff für Experimente.
